Description: We are seeking enthusiastic, fun, individuals, with exceptional web skills, to join our talented and growing web team of Educators. In this role, you will help shape the instruction of our students as they progress through the Web Curriculum at Full Sail. Our future teammates will be self-motivated individuals that possess knowledge of web techniques and technologies coupled with a desire to share their unique talents while working in a state-of-the-art environment.

As the Course Director for the Flash Studies course, you will teach students the Adobe Flash application and how it is used to create compelling interactive content for the web. In addition to teaching the Flash authoring environment, students will explore the Flash design tools, ActionScript 3.0, and the Adobe Flash Player. This course focuses on the fundamental concepts of the Flash authoring environment for web design and development.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, develop, and implement course curriculum as defined by the Program Director
• Lecture to students and assist students with queries and requests for additional information
• Evaluate and grade the students’ progress through the course material
• Support and cultivate the student body
• Ensure high student retention of curriculum
• Participate in monthly departmental meetings
• Work with the Program Director on enhancing the quality of the course and the Web Department

Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of the Flash CS 3 authoring environment
• An understanding of Flash animation and design
• An in-depth knowledge of ActionScipt 3.0
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to deploy rich-media on the Web via Flash technologies
• Good design skills and the ability to transfer them to the web
• Knowledge of Web Standards and Validation

Education/Training:
• Minimum of three years experience designing, developing, and producing Flash-based web content
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Ability to help develop lab curriculum
