Job Title: Course Director – Portfolio Creation

Job Type: Full Time

Department: Education – Digital Arts & Design Department

Responsibilities: Full-time instructor for the Portfolio Creation course. In this class, the students are introduced to the portfolio design concepts and elements of creating their own personal brand. Position requires not only lecture, but hands-on mentorship of the students as they prepare for graduation and the professional world. Full Sail is a non-traditional university and non-traditional teaching methods and creative educational approaches are respected and appreciated.

The Course Director is responsible for handling, preparation and presentation of course material, as well as proper management of course curriculum and instructional staff. This includes but is not limited to; teaching, instructional planning, curriculum and program development, advising students, and participation in campus activities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of professional, industry experience.

All faculty will work directly from the Full Sail campus in Winter Park, FL.

Education/Training: Bachelor of Arts Degree and 3 years professional industry experience.

Skills Needed: Adobe Creative Suite is a must, web and video software experience is a plus.
This is primarily a lecture position, so candidates must also demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, with previous educational experience preferred.
