Job Title: Lab Specialist - Automated Lighting Technician
Job Type: Full Time
Department: Show Production & Touring
Responsibilities: Ensure lab tutorials and/or lab assignments as defined by course director are completed. Maintain professionalism in the lab environment and assist students with technology and project implementation.
Requirements: The position requires a commitment to education and the ability to collaborate in a professional environment. Lab specialists typically work night hours.
Education/Training: Must possess a minimum of 3 years practical experience in the live lighting production field
Skills Needed: Candidates must train students proper use of equipment including; programming, console operation and moving light fixtures. Familiarity to the following hardware and software is a plus; grand Ma consoles, Martin automated instruments and Vectorworks.
