Instructor - Live Production Maintenance

Job Title: Lab Specialist - Live Production Maintenance

Job Type: Full Time

Department: Education – Show Production and Touring

Responsibilities: Instruct students in all aspects of live production equipment maintenance.
Lab Specialist will provide instruction to students and assist students with queries and requests for additional information. Follow lesson plans and curriculum as outlined by Course Director. Support the Course Director and help further their vision. Support and cultivate the student body. Ensure that the lab runs smoothly. Ensure high student retention in lab. Participate in monthly departmental meetings

Requirements: 4 years of professional, industry experience in live production maintenance. Live concert production experience is a plus. A working knowledge of electronic components and schematics is required. Full Sail is a 24-hour, 7-day-per-week facility and requires a flexible schedule.

The successful candidate must ensure excellence of personal service to students, maintain office hours for consultation, and communicate with students to settle inquiries relating to the course.

Education/Training:
Associates Degree or higher

Skills Needed:
You must have a passion to share your knowledge and experience. You must be familiar with current analog and digital audio equipment. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate these skills to students in a lab setting.
