Responsibilities: Full-time instructor for the Motion Capture course. This course teaches students techniques to digitize motion, edit sequences, and develop and understanding of simulated motion. Students gain an understanding of motion capture setup and shooting, data tracking, and skeleton retargeting, as well as animation correction and enhancement.
The Associate Course Director is responsible for assisting the Course Director in handling, preparation and presentation of course material, as well as proper management of course curriculum and instructional staff. This includes but is not limited to; teaching, instructional planning, curriculum and program development, advising students, and participation in campus activities.
Requirements: The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of motion capture. Proficiency in the use of EVaRT and the Motion Analysis camera set up is a plus. Candidate should also have knowledge of MotionBuilder and the ability to learn multiple software packages.
Flexible schedule.
All candidates must provide samples of their work via web address or demo reel.
Education/Training: Bachelor of Arts Degree and 4 years professional industry experience.
Skills Needed: This is primarily a lecture position, so candidates must also demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, with previous educational experience preferred. A strong ability to constructively critique work is important.

Responsibilities: The Faculty member will develop curriculum and teach the new Production Methodologies course in the Game Development Master of Science Program. This class discusses the many different ways that managers can schedule, plan and execute their projects. Students will learn project management methods and software development methods and how these led to the basis of production methodologies. They will learn the difference in the ways to plan and execute their project, as well as learning which ones work better in each field, software or manufacturing.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years professional experience in Game Development. Candidate will mentor students, attend faculty development workshops, and participate in campus activities including meetings, special events, behind-the-scenes tours and graduation.
All faculty will work directly from the Full Sail campus in Winter Park, FL.
