The successful candidate will mentor students, attend faculty development workshops and participate in campus activities including meetings, special events, behind-the-scenes tours and graduation.
Job requirements include an earned master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in research methods, media literacy, as well as instructional technology or similar experience teaching online courses at the post-secondary level. Candidates with marketing/business experience are preferred. Additional required skills include online facilitation, APA formatting, flexibility working with teams and excellent oral and written communication skills.

The Game Art Department is looking for a Course Director for the Game Animation Course. This course provides students with their first opportunity to produce animated sequences and cycles for game play. Students develop an overall understanding of animation as it applies to the game industry with a focus on game engine constraints and requirements.

The Usability Course explores the theoretical and practical methods used to improve game interfaces. Usability inspection is aimed at finding usability problems and providing design-relevant information to designers and engineers in the effort of making products easier to interact with and more efficient to use. Some of the topics shall include generations of user interfaces, the usability engineering lifecycle, usability heuristics and usability testing methodologies.

The successful candidate will maintain office hours for consultation and provide excellent service to students. Position is available starting in February 2010. This is a full-time, on campus position.
Requirements: B.S. in International Business or related field. Minimum four years related work experience. MBA preferred.

Requirements: Master's or doctorate degree in English, Film, Communications, Animation, Gaming or a related field. Candidates must possess four years of related professional experience, which may include writing for the entertainment industry, Creative Writing, Storytelling, Film/Television, Animation, Gaming, Communications, Advertising and/or Marketing.
All faculty will work directly from the Full Sail campus in Winter Park, FL.
Education/Training: PhD, MFA, EdD, MA, or MS degree.
Skills Needed: Broad base of knowledge in writing for the entertainment industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Teaching experience is preferred.
